On 13 May, Dennis Stiller will take over the newly created position of head of supply chain management (SCM) at the German specialist retail chain Das Futterhaus. In this role, he will be responsible for the technical, process-related and commercial management of the flow of goods. Stiller was most recently team lead for e-commerce operations management at fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg, Hamburg. Prior to this, he was head of process management and controlling at the software company Tiplu.

During its transformation from a purely brick-and-mortar retailer to an omnichannel operator, the Elmshorn-based speciality retailer had already expanded its management team in January with the addition of Hartmut Senf as head of e-commerce. "We are delighted to have filled a key position in logistics and merchandise management with Dennis Stiller in order to take further important strategic steps in the expansion and optimisation of our merchandise management as part of our realignment as an omnichannel retailer," says Das Futterhaus managing director Kurt Bisping.

The specialist pet food and accessories retailer with 430 stores in Germany and Austria generated sales of 580 mio euros in 2023 and is also active in the private label business.
